La Palabre has for principal objective to defend the Human rights et to contribute to the development of the most vulnerable groups of the society, particularly women and children in Africa. La Palabre gives a priority to education and trainings, and oppose all forms of inequality and racism as well as all kind of violence based on gender, among which female genital mutilations (FGM), early and forced marriage and the violence based on honour.

This way, the association contests all forms of traditional practices that have a negative effect on women and girls' biologically, psychologically and spiritually. It also acts for the self-governing of the most vulnerable populations.
